Walking the talk!
A leader is seen and observed more often than anyone could ever imagine. His words are also taken by his constituents with serious weight and value. Often times, people mimic him. In this regard, a leader needs to be a true role model. He should therefore be careful in his words. He should have clear thoughts of what he believes in. He should always walk the “Talk”. Walking the talk creates credence. It indicates consistency. It manifests a true belief in something expressed by words. It shows truth from deep inside the person giving the talk. Where there is a contradiction between words and actions, it manifests lip service and words devoid of honesty. When you do this, you hurt yourself. You make yourself unhappy, and drives away the benefits of peace of mind found in honesty and the truth.
